* When it Comes to Dead Birds, Separation of Church and State is Upheld

A Native American man was in court last week for possessing two deceased hawks that he found lying on roads in Watertown, Ohio. "White Buffalo," 61, wanted the feathers to make into fans that would help lift smoke and prayer during ceremonies, “We honor birds in their height — the altitude they can fly,” he said. “The closer to the creator they are, the stronger the prayer.”

It seems that "special permits are required to possess hawks and other protected animals, even if they are found dead. He [Ohio Department of Natural Resources Investigator Charlie Stone] said Coulter [White Buffalo] does not have the required permits, which are extended to individuals on a limited basis. Religious purposes are not among the criteria for issuing a permit."
Now all we have to do is convince the faith-based US federal government to do likewise on their decisions.

This is just another way for "white eye" to try and take away the cultural and spiritual way of the Native American People. Signed, Lyndall Singing Eagle Sargent

“God’s signs,” George W. Bush declared, “are not always the ones we look for. We learn in tragedy that his purposes are not always our own...Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth can separate us from God’s love. May he bless the souls of the departed, may he comfort our own, and may he always guide our country.”
That was said on September 14, 2001, three days after the World Trade Center horror. Reverend Bush's sermon made me feel even worse.

I absolutely believe what Ellie [Contact] believes--that there is no direct evidence, so how could you ask me to believe in God when there's absolutely no evidence that I can see?

~ Jodie Foster

I don't believe in Heaven and Hell," he says. "I don't know if I believe in God. All I know is that as an individual, I won't allow this life--the only thing I know to exist--to be wasted.

~ George Clooney
