* Dinosaurs, A Creationist's Fairy Tale ~ Museum Grand Opening May 28, 2007

The theme of the $27 million Creation Museum is that human beings and dinosaurs coexisted because the bible says so--it's all true from Genesis to Revelation. If you hurry, you can become a Charter Member of the museum for $495 or $99/year for 5 years.

Museum mission statement

"Exalt Jesus Christ as Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer through a safe, wholesome, family-friendly center for learning and discovery that clearly presents major biblical themes from Genesis to Revelation.

"This center will equip Christians to better evangelize the lost with a sense of urgency, through a combination of exhibits, research and educational presentations that uphold the inerrancy of the Bible.

"This center will also challenge visitors to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and to accept the authority of the Bible by providing culturally relevant biblical and scientific answers from a biblical worldview."

The "7 C's'of History

"Throughout this family-friendly experience, guests will learn how to answer the attacks on the Bible’s authority in geology, biology, anthropology, cosmology, etc., and they will discover how science actually confirms biblical history."

Yikes, children are allowed in the museum.

"Because the world began only 6,000 years ago, they argue, dinosaurs discovered in the fossil record must have coexisted with humans. In the diorama that greets museum visitors, models of baby tyrannosaurs cavort among animatronic children clad in buckskin." Baltimore Sun

Creation Route
One of my questions about this whole ordeal was, "How did large dinosaurs fit into Noah's Ark?" Well, it seems that, for one thing, the animals were 'teenagers' or even 'younger specimens.' LOL

“God’s signs,” George W. Bush declared, “are not always the ones we look for. We learn in tragedy that his purposes are not always our own...Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth can separate us from God’s love. May he bless the souls of the departed, may he comfort our own, and may he always guide our country.”
That was said on September 14, 2001, three days after the World Trade Center horror. Reverend Bush's sermon made me feel even worse.

I absolutely believe what Ellie [Contact] believes--that there is no direct evidence, so how could you ask me to believe in God when there's absolutely no evidence that I can see?

I don't believe in Heaven and Hell," he says. "I don't know if I believe in God. All I know is that as an individual, I won't allow this life--the only thing I know to exist--to be wasted.

~ George Clooney
