"Mary Cheney, the vice president's openly gay daughter, is pregnant.
She and her partner of 15 years, Heather Poe, are 'ecstatic' about
the baby, due in late spring, said a source close to the couple."
Of course Christian right-wingers are spouting objections, all ridiculous as far as I've read; same old stuff. I don't even want to go there except to wonder why. Jesus never said anything about homosexuality. "Love others as yourself" may be addressing the topic but perhaps moreso reveals that Christians don't love themselves, either. The stretch to find a proof text in the Hebrew Scriptures written a few hundred years BCE to a mention in Leviticus is laughable. Christians don't even like Jews, except for Jesus, but will cherry-pick their scriptures when convenient. Christians don't seem to like anyone, heh, not even other Christians. How odd their god.
